He was not the asshole playboy that Anna assumes he was, he's sweet and charming and at times his emotional struggles never failed to pull at every heart string I had. Anna was a fantastic character as well. But Drew is goddamn stubborn and will not give up till he gets Anna. That fighting scene at the end, free online dating so epic! Each following book is secondary characters from the first book.
When Anna was guarded, he unnoticeably staked his claim. This is the most Diaz has said to me in weeks, so the words take a while to sink in past the shock. The way Drew's and Anna's relationship developed and evolved was tender, realistic and had my heart doing backflips. Though she had her insecurities, I still liked her.

Like he's plugged in to me. Unfortunately the porny liburry did not have that one available on Kindle so I had to settle for this one instead. It would have been easier to sympathize with her more if he was a known jerk or player with a seedy past, but Drew was someone anyone and everyone would pine for.
This story is a well done entertaining read. Do yourself a favour and allow this book to rock your world, because mine is still shaking from the aftershocks of reading something truly awesome. You didn't know how to live under my light? Never before has so much importance and heat been put into a single first kiss. She was such a likeable heroine, every girl's best friend material for sure. This is her first attempt at New Adult and I have to say, I was completely impressed with this book.
Both of them are not as confident as they would have everyone believe. Stranger still, it feels as if I know him, have known him for years. Drew may be a local star, but he's not the guy everyone thinks he is. And I'm so screwed up because it was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Anna wants nothing to do with Drew. What I liked the most is the fact that he wasn't whoring around. He's slowly carving his name into my heart. But it was the second half of the book which impressed me. My God, this book was pure perfection.

Ahhhh I'm so in love with Drew. More times than not he cools his jets to make sure they don't feel threatened. She was just so stubborn and it frustrated me that she kept trying to keep Drew as arm's length emotionally.
Both Anna and Drew are likable main characters. Here we have two people who are moving forward in their lives but not necessarily enjoying what they have cause they have a big whole to fill. This insecurity is what caused me to not like her so much. Drew's willing to gamble that he can make her break all those rules.

She wasn't annoying though, when she finally got her shit together, she fought for Drew and helped him through rough times, she was there for him when he needed her most. He has a big heart and is truly a great guy. This, my friends, is a fail moment for me. Nor do two random hook ups a relationship make.
